PQ-NE Action Group

Our Mission

PQ-NE Action Group is a volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization representing residents of northeast Rancho Peñasquitos. Our mission is to protect and enhance community safety, promote responsible planning, and preserve the quality of life in our neighborhood, with a particular focus on wildfire evacuation safety, traffic mitigation, and community education.

Our Principles are Simple

Safety First
Helping residents protect their homes and families by preparing for wildfires, evacuations and other emergencies.

Community Voice
We advocate for residents in northeast Rancho Peñasquitos. 
 

Transparency & Education
We work to keep neighbors informed about safety issues affecting our community.

Volunteer Leadership
PQ-NE Action Group is entirely led by local residents who volunteer and donate their time and effort to advancing its mission of protecting the community.

Our community borders on the expansive 2,300 acre Black Mountain Open Space Park, which is designated by San Diego Fire-Rescue as a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone.
